Vapor Intrusion & Radon Mitigation
Vapor intrusion assessments form the starting point for architecting and installing a vapor mitigation system to retrofit an existing building. The foundation type determines whether we recommend a sub-slab depressurization system or a sub-membrane depressurization system, which may be supplemented by other vapor mitigation techniques. Minimally invasive practices are used to work around the current structure as much as possible and preserve the architectural appeal and function of the building.
Operations Maintenance & Monitoring
A site-specific operations maintenance and monitoring plan (OM&M) is developed for the vapor mitigation system based on the risk analysis customized for each building. Routine OM&M of the vapor mitigation system is available and typically required to maintain optimum vapor protection.
